The Cultural Strategy Group has prepared a set of Emerging Recommendations – downloadable here – which are now being further discussed and refined through Phase 3. The recommendations add up to a comprehensive change in the way culture is led, developed, delivered and marketed.
It’s a big list, which will be refined in the light of the Phase 3 work and experience over the summer. For instance, the cafe culture animation programme being led by Peterborough Positive and other partners is underway. There has also been intense discussion about bidding for City or County of Culture, which is leading towards building capacity to bid for 2030.
In September and October, this work will lead through to an action plan so that our progress can be measured and everyone can see how they contribute. That will then be published here too.
